My health journey began on November 25, 2019 when I suddenly experienced breathing problems akin to asthma, despite never having had asthma before. I drove myself to the emergency room, where the doctor gave me an inhaler. However, the inhaler did not provide relief, so I returned to the ER, and they ordered a breathing machine to be sent to my home. Interestingly, the day I received the breathing machine, my symptoms had resolved on their own. It was around this time that the COVID-19 pandemic began, and I later learned that I had in fact contracted COVID-19.

In April 2022, I purchased a condo on Victoria Island, but I don't believe I had fully recovered from COVID-19. One evening, I went to the ER again, and they informed me that my kidneys were suffering. My primary care doctor, however, later told me that my kidneys were fine. Nonetheless, I ended up selling the condo and returning to California.

I had received both doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, and I believe the ingredients in the vaccine had a negative impact on my kidneys. Despite initially being against the vaccine, the government's pressure led me to get it. In April 2024, I went to the ER again, and this time they admitted me to the hospital and told me I needed to start dialysis, scaring me with the prospect of dying if I didn't. Reluctantly, I agreed to the dialysis, which I underwent three times a week at first, then two times, and eventually just once a week for two hours.

However, even with the good blood work results I was consistently receiving, the dialysis center and doctors never shared my full bloodwork with me. Frustrated, I went to a new primary care doctor, who ordered an X-ray that revealed my kidneys were actually in great condition. At this point, I decided to stop the dialysis, despite the kidney doctors' attempts to scare me by saying I would die.

Today, I am grateful that I took control of my health and stopped the dialysis, as it was too harsh on my body. My story serves as a reminder that it's crucial to be proactive and take charge of your health.
